Sidewalk Sunday School

FCC is excited to bring Sidewalk Sunday School to Pence St. Park. This children's program was pioneered by Metro Ministries, Bronx, New York, and is changing lives all over the world. A bright, colorful, specially equipped truck becomes a church on wheels bringing hope to the neighborhood. Fun, music, games, giveaways, and simple Bible stories connect with children in a manner they can understand. For many, SWSS will be their only church. Through SWSS children and their families can hear about God's unconditional love. The public is invited to stop by the park and see this street ministry in action. You can use this Prayer Guide for ways to pray for SWSS.

Important SWSS Dates:

June 27 (Wed) – Neighborhood Media Blitz to Pence Apartments and surrounding streets: advertising Ice Cream in the Park and SWSS program dates (Meet at Pence Park at 5:30pm)
June 29 (Fri) – Ice Cream in the Park, 6pm – make ice cream sundaes, SWSS truck open, more flyers, integrate with the neighborhood
June 30 (Sat) – 1st SWSS program (10:00-11:15am)
July 7, 14, 21 – remaining SWSS programs
July 28 (Sat) – Final Celebration (free meal, haircuts, garden produce give-away, games, & more)
