Missions at FCC

How we see missions:

• We're going "glocal" (global and local) - we have a responsibility to go to the ends of the earth, but that begins in our own local community. Here in the United States, the world is at our doorsteps. When we say "worldwide", we aren't just looking across the globe, we're also looking across the street.
• We focus on our strategic mission partners and various projects throughout the year
• For ever dollar given to First Christian, $0.12 goes towards our mission commitments
• Last year we fulfilled almost $160,000 in mission efforts
• Our international mission partners reflect our desire to share the gospel through wholistic efforts, meeting not only spiritual needs, but physical, educational, financial and emotional needs.
• We meet the 1st Monday of the month in the church library at 6:30p - everyone is welcome to join us!

Throughout the year, the FCC Church family is involved with various projects that help meet the needs and extend God's grace throughout the world.

• Senior Projects and Collections
• Ongoing special offerings, collections and benevolence (Columbus flood, Haiti earthquake, Joplin relief, Henryville relief)
